Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, we have obviously had to suspend our physical incursion to schools in both Victoria and Queensland. In response to this we have increased our online presence and have been presenting a number of different types of sessions for a wide range of audiences.
We have started ‘Bugchat Live’ sessions live on Facebook, looking at a variety of different invertebrates. It a great way to learn about some of these amazing animals and you can ask questions along the way. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates and when the next Bugchat Live session is scheduled. After these have occurred we are saving them to our video section so you can catch them all later on if you missed them live.
We have also been conducting sessions for school and kinder groups on the platform Online Incursions. These sessions need to be pre-booked, so jump onto the site to find out more. We currently have regular ‘Minibeast’ sessions each Wednesday and ‘Spiders’ each Thursday, both at 11am.
